Bud,
As far as I have ever seen, any IP that IMail uses, can accept email for any
other defined domain or for a 'Store and Forward' site.
As for dmpmortgage.com, you do need the IP for the remote host, in the Relay
for Address table, along with the HOSTS file entry, per Len.
The loop is caused by the fact that the primary mail server is not
responding, IMail will then try the IP for the 'domain name', which is also
IMail, which answers and accepts. With the correct data in HOSTS, this would
not happen. IMail will see that IP (from HOSTS) and only try to deliver to
the external host IP, not itself (not using DNS data). BTW, this domain
should have a secondary MX record, that points to IMail on the primary IP,
although the current configuration does provide that, in an unusual stroke
of coincidence (or plain luck).
