That's right, SMTPD is Imail receiving, NOT sending out your list msgs.

When SMTPD receives the msg, it queues it under a file name. Can you
find this file name anywhere else in you logs or in the Imail spool
directory? is there build up in the Imail queue?
I haven't seen any reports of Imail receiving mail and losing it. So
I think you just have to look harder to see where it's going and then
why it's not leaving.
@home's mail systems seems to be totally screwed up recently.
