Scott, it appears that the results only show inbound or outbound messages,
but not both, which seems strange to me. My results show either "0" on the
inbound or the outbound messages, but do not seem to show a positive number
on both inbound and outbound messages for any domains. With as many domains
and user as we have on our IMail server, I find it hard to believe that our
users are not both sending and receiving e-mail.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Bill

Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Program to break down number of
E-mailssent/received per domain
>How do you use the program?
You can type "domlist -help" for instructions.
You just type "domlist " followed by the name of the file(s) you want
scanned. For example, "domlist c:\imail\spool\sys0202.txt" or "domlist
sys*.txt".
Unfortunately, the log files don't distinguish between mail that is relayed
through your server (that isn't from or to a local user) and E-mail that is
for a local user, but forwarded on. This can cause some domains to show up
that aren't hosted on your server. If this happens, you can add a number to
the end of the command line (IE "domlist sys0202.txt 20"), that will limit
the results to domains that either have incoming E-mail, or a minimum of 20
outgoing E-mails.
>Does it have to be in the same directory as the log files?
No. But, if you do not run it from the directory the log files are in, you
need to specify the path to the files (IE "domlist
c:\imail\spool\sys0202.txt" instead of just "domlist sys0202.txt").
