Details, details, details!!!
Were the settings in TCPIP there and correct, before IMail was installed? I
would still expect IMail to find the DNS IP(s) and use it, even under 2000.
I have played a bit with 2K and the TCPIP stuff is different. In particular,
under NT, one could have a different FQDN for TCPIP (it warned you, but
would accept whatever you said) than for other protocols. I could not find a
way to do that in 2K.
