We have around 5000 users, I'm not sure how many have multiple accounts, on
an Exchange server running Groupshield. We will soon be changing to IMail.
I know Groupshield really slowed our Exchange server down and takes around
30 minutes to stop, then another 30 minutes to restart for updates. I have
been thinking of using Declude with McAfee virus scan. Can Declude pass
attachments off to another server for processing and would this many
accounts warrant doing so? My alternative is using Webshield, which we all
ready own. Thanks for any opinions.
Craig

Declude is a fantastic product.

IMO, the only reason to use another product in conjunction with iMail is if
the volume is such that it requires the virus scanning process be on another
machine. This would have to be a pretty high volume to be an issue.

You will have it running in 15 minutes(probably less).
