Paul, because of the way Netscape, and Eudora handle e-mail, you must login as user%<virtdomain>@Primarydomain.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Netscape

IMail v6.06

I have multiple domains/websites running on our server that are using IMail, MOST of the sites are setup as virtual domains within IMail.

My problem is this, I can setup accounts in Outlook Express with no problem, they can send and recieve mail without a hitch, but for the life of me I cannot seem to get them to work in Netscape mail.  (versions 4.73 and the latest 6.X).

I setup my accounts with the following information (through the wizard)

Select ISP or Email Provider
Type in my name and email address
Server Type POP Mail
Server Name mail.domain.com
Account name: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Then when I try to "GET MAIL", it gives me the following Error:

An erro occurred while sending your password to the mail server.  You should contact the administrator for this server or try again later.

I have checked my username and password and am using the correct stuff.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Paul
