You're right, I guess.
It looks like Yahoo group mail is getting through to the same people who are
missing most of my IMail list messages - and now I see that Yahoo group
message headers also have the list address in the "To:" line.

Ah, they could filter on that. However, that would get rid of virtually all
mailing list messages. The overhead involved to create individual messages
(each with its own set of headers) instead of batches (one set of headers
for 25-1000+ E-mails) is very high.
