Could you have an IP conflict on your network. If this happens, WINNT will
shut down that particular IP address and not respond at all. Check in your
event logs to see if there was a recent error

few hours ago i reallize that i cannot contact with my mail server.
Actually I cannot even PING on it!
The most strange thing is that in the SAME PC (winNT4 sp6 - Imail6.06) I
have other IP's (four) that represents other mail servers (different names)
and they are working perfect and the machine responds in PING!!!!!!!
Any suggestions??????????????
