Of course you did not, that is why I sent my last message! The point being
that more information is always better than less. The more you tell us about
your system, configuration and usage, the more likely we can provide a
significant answer.
The toughest email in this list are the single sentence ones. It might be
possible to describe a problem in a single sentence, and it might even be
possible to get a correct answer (if it is a simple problem, or you
described the exact symptom, in the exact manner, so someone recognizes the
problem), but more likely, it will just generate more questions.
So, I'm saying to all members, try to include as much information as
possible! Yes, I understand that that can be hard, figuring out what is
pertinent to the problem, but make the attempt. The more you include, the
less we have to ask, the faster you get an answer. Basic configuration
information, like what DB is being used, is important, all the time.
Troubleshooting is not easy, but with a lack of information, it can be
impossible.
