Since the Queue tool shows only 3, that means there are 3 of the *.smd files
that begin with Q*.smd. Find the 3 D*.smd. where * in the Q matches * in the
D. Those are email that IMail has to process. If the files are T*.smd, then
they are 'aborted' emails (normally this is a temporary file that becomes
the D file when message is received or deleted if connection terminated
prematurely). So any T*.SMD files can be deleted, IMail will not use them
(but they can tell you where the message was coming from and to). Any D
files that do not have a matching Q file are messages that IMail could not
deliver or return. Look at them too, to see who the sender/recipient is.
Delete when no longer needed.
You might want to move them all to another location or rename the \spool dir
and make a new one, moving to it, only the current days log files and the
Q/D pairs. Might be a good idea to stop SMTP service, when doing this and
start back up when done.
tmp files may come from Web MSG. Maybe one of your web users, tried to sent
that big file to lots of people?? I'd just delete it after performing the
above stuff (you might find that it was an attachment [awful big!!!], when
you look at the lone D*.SMD files).
