I'm at a loss on this one... if anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.
We have a client, abc.com, with several POP accounts.
We have configured the DNS same as always.
We have configured IMail same as always, both for the virtual server
(shared IP)
and for the user accounts.
We get the following when trying to send to them from Eudora (for example):
1 messages left to send., RCPT TO: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>[12:01:36 PM]
Can't send to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. The server gives the this reason:
'550 unknown user <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>'.
We have added virtual domains AFTER this one, and they work fine.
We have deleted the user and recreated; no luck.
We have deleted the whole domain, recreated. No luck.
They aren't doing anything fancy - no web msg., no forwards of copies of
messages, nothing.
Any ideas what to check for when you run out of ideas what to check for?
