Invisible mail completely destroys the user's confidence in the system and from their perspective the entire operation is suspect based on that... between that and errors during mail checks, these guys are revolting... and I can't blame them. What I need is a solution that works.

Us too .. no problems besides "invisible mail".  We only have 150 accounts, with about 50% using IMAP alone with Outlook or Outlook Express internally, and KWM from home or remote.
 
6.06 Latest Patches.  We've been running since October 2000, and only 4 weeks ago applied all the patches.

Grrr... I knew somebody would say that. It's ok. I understand... there have to be some people using it without trouble... Trick is, I need to figure out what's special about it so that I can have the same experience.
