Much lower impact on the system than PCA, but yes it does use a lot more
bandwidth. At dial up speeds it is tolerable for emergency use. At T1
speeds
it's acceptable for normal use, but you are still aware it is a remote
connection.
That said, I love it - it's a great support tool. I have NEVER seen a VNC
related system error. Not something I can say about PCA(and I VNC more than
PCA now).
But it is all about the right tool for the right job. It's not something I
use on a boxes I spend extended time in, but for occasional support needs,
it's great.
