dial-up, cable, dsl users should (and often must) relay their outgoing
their access providers SMTP servers.

If these groups want to relay their outgoing through your Imail, you must
insist on authenticated access, with is SMTP AUTH.

Note that SMTP AUTH cannot be turned off in IMail, only its announcement in
the SMTP dialogue can be turned on or off.
