Outlook 2000 has a feature which allows you to be notified when your e-mail
has been read. I guess that is what you mean by Return Receipts. In order to
activate it, follow these steps

Tools-> Options -> Email Options -> Tracking Options -> Click on the check
Box "Request read receipt for all messages I send"

My experience on this is that not all e-mail clients will send back
notification of the e-mails having being read. Most of the popular e-mail
cleints like Outlook express, OutLook , Eudora etc.. seems to work though.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Return Receipts

I have recently inherited a Imail server from another
company and I have a boss who is wanting Return
Receipts to come back to him through Outlook 2000. It
appears that IMail server supports them, but I am
unclear as to whether I have to configure anything on
the Imail Server it's self. Any assistance would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Jason
