This is a common question.  The first thing to do is make sure they are 
recent files and not old files, but you've already done that by using the 
program to clean the spool directory.

The next step is to determine what all this E-mail is.  Most likely, given 
the huge number of files in the spool, either you're dealing with a mail 
loop, or you've given free mailing service to a spammer (the "Gee, I never 
thought they would use me" or "I'll close my relay later when I have some 
free time" syndrome).

To do that, just take a handful of the files in the queue, and open them, 
and you should find out quickly what the problem is.
