I really need some help on this...
I'm using Imail 6.06 and we use portuguese (brazilian) language.
The problem is using webmail and this only happens with some browsers.
When typing accents such as ��o ����� �����... etc.. on an (web) email,
sometimes depending on the browser the recipient recieves the email with
strange characters such as =E7 etc
eg."
...este =E9 um novo patch de seguran=E7a para um bug grav=EDssimo do
Eu instalei o patch e j=E1 fazem 15 minutos que tudo est=E1 est=E1vel.

Is there a solution in the Imail server for this problem?

First, are email passwords sent over the internet in cleartext? Can they be
sent over in an encrypted format? We would need to do this for both sending
and recieving email as we do use SMPT authentication.
Next, can the entire email transaction be secured?
