Okay, I'm a little confused. While I (and most of the IT staff) use
Netscape Messenger as our mail client, the far majority of our users use
Outlook as their email client. We use IMAP as our protocol and I've
noticed that some of our Outlook users still have PST files. I bring
this up because one of our users can't acces their email (fetching
headers problem) using Outlook. I've deleted their .UID file on the
server, but still the problem persists. So, as a test I used Netscape
Messenger to try and access their email and it worked fine. I was
looking for some sort of INBOX or MAIN type of file I could delete from
their hard drive but that's when I ran across the PST file.

Is it safe to delete the PST files?

Thanks,
Dale
