If you insist on Norton, then you should be able to use it to protect the
server. I would probably exclude the imail spool directory and subdirs from
Norton so the real-time Norton scan doesn't fight with f-prot. Scott may know
if this is really necessary.
The bigger question, does it really need a real-time scanner on it. The only
"servers" I install something like Norton on are file sharing servers for end
users where I don't have control over the desktops.
