I am also having a lot of IMAP problems with 7.03.  The problems don't
happen to all users but enough that it is a real pain.  IPSwitch told me to
wait for 7.03 and hopefully some of these problems would be corrected but
apparently not.  Has anyone had the problem where a folder will show there
is new mail but when you click on the folder no new messages appear?  They
do appear if you use the web interface.  I found if I delete the .uid file
for the folder on the server it will fix the problem but it usually appears
again later.  This seems to affect Outlook users more than Outlook Express
users.

Craig, I'm having the same problem.  I have had a ticket open with Ipswitch
for a week now and they have no idea as to what the problem is.  Surprise
surprise.

As best I can tell, Imail 7.03 has some sort of sensitivity to certain
messages.  When the server attempts to process one of the messages, it fails
and it locks up the client resulting in a server connection error message.

For the users that have corrupt folders, I installed Imail 6.05 on a
separate server and restored their old mail.    Since Outlook Express can
handle multiple email accounts, they could access both accounts and copy
mail from the new accounts I had set up for them to their accounts on the
7.03 server.  You can then determine exactly which emails the 7.03 server
won't process.
I have yet to figure out what it is about these emails that causes the
problem though.
