Maybe if your a ISP but 99.9% of the .exe my company receives are infected files or pornography.  But then declude is cheap insurance and works well even on a old PPro 200

And if you block exe's are you going to also block pif's and com's and bat's as well? It's a road that shouldn't be gone down. Instead spend the money on Declude's (www.declude.com) antivirus solution and get F-Prot or Mcafee and you'll be doing your users a world of good.
