The environment is the key.  As an ISP we can not, because of all of the
file traffic done by the K-12 school students and their web academy as well
as all of the college students in our service area.  Telling everyone they
have to zip all their files is not an option.  They have to do that to use
AOL and it is driving business to us.  At present our three small companies
are listed as preferred internet service provides for just that reason.  The
best you can do is to follow the guidance found here on actively scanning
for viruses and urging all of our customers to get and use a good anti-virus
solution on all their PCs
