The % hole strikes again. I ran a test and verified that backup MX hosts on
your network are relaying through the primary.
Received: from mail2.citynet.net.ar [200.32.16.9] by mail.citynet.net.ar
with ESMTP
(SMTPD32-7.03) id A2D4928A0152; Thu, 20 Sep 2001 13:01:24 -0300
http://www.orbz.org/b.php?200.32.16.3 lists .9 as an input, probably for
this very reason.
The .9 server rejects the external address if entered in the form of
[EMAIL PROTECTED] but accepts [EMAIL PROTECTED]
The .3 address, which looks to be your primary server, correctly rejects
mail in both formats.
My tests show that you are configured correctly, but due to this hole are
still relaying. All you can do until Ipswitch releases a patch is to remove
all the secondary MX configuration (hosts file and backup MX entries). Or
run IMgate.
