SMTP AUTH is all there is.

yep, KISS

another solution from IMGate: as MX, listens on its port 25, then,
programmed to relay to IMails not standard SMTP service port, forwards to
port xx of Imail.
>Is there a way to get Imail SMTP to work on more than one port? i.e. 25 and

no

try the message archive, I'm pretty sure this has been done.
>I cannot put up another server nor can I install some type of hardware NAT.
>I need to be able to work with the single server that I have.
then what you need in an SMTP service that listens on port 25 for MX
incoming, and forward to IMail on port <non-standard>.
Does the MS SMTP svc allow relaying to ip:port or just ip?
