Sounds like the monolpoly we have here(Government signed a 100 year deal...I think it's 100). There is a loophole in the contract though and we get to do one way communication so we get simplex from satellite companies. Even with deregulation, C&W own the entire Fibre Loop under the C'bean sea. So we're still screwed.
