that is not the problem, you want more than one running, as each works on a

it depends on your total msg traffic.  144 x 500 = 72k msgs/day.  is that 
your normal load?

has someone hijacked your Imail server for spamming?  smtp security tab: 
relay for addresses or no relay.

don't ever delete valid mail,  move to the another directory, but don't 
delete it.

look in your imail log file to see the MAIL FROM and RCTP TO and the ip 
addresses being connected from, to see if you are hijacked as an open relay.
