There is a shareware tool, AutoSMTP at www.bpardo.com, which enables your machine to automatically switch its outgoing SMTP server depending on what DUN connection is up. Solves a lot of these problems and is highly recommmended. But even without it, all you have to do to get the account drop-down is define a new accounts with alternate SMTP host and credentials.
