Thanks Scott. Client is Outlook, mail is not left on the server.
Currently the server is out our host company, but soon to be brought in
house.  I can't wait.  I will then have access to log files, etc....

Remember, these are two different issues; let's not confuse 'em.

In the first case, the E-mails are being *sent* twice.  This could
happen 
if the names were in the list twice, for example.  Another possibility
is 
that there are forwardings set up.  Or, they are going through another
mail 
server that is "mucking" with delivery.  In this case, the best thing to
do 
is look at the logs.  The logs will show exactly how many times the
E-mails 
were received, and whether they were forwarded.

In your case, it sounds like the problem is in receiving the mail.  Do
you 
leave your mail on the server?  If so, and you use Outlook, you may 
occasionally get flooded with all the old mail being sent again.  If it
is 
recent mail, then you can check the logs to see how many E-mails IMail
says 
you downloaded, whether or not the E-mail was received twice, whether it

was forwarded, etc.
