That's because all another mail server really knows about yours is its IP address. You can claim to be any domain you want. So, many mailservers will do something include the IP address, the domain name (from the HELO/EHLO statement), and then the reverse IP address of the IP address of the mail server. I'm guessing that wrongdomain.com is the reverse DNS entry for the IP address of your mail server.
