This are the messages i received from my test list. I have checked the
settings in the registry for the list.
Only moderator can post is checked: restricted=2 in registry
Reply to list is not checked: replytolist=0
Both messages are returned by the postmaster of the recipient, but the
bounce message looks totally different like other bounce message i receive
usually. We only have problems with this recipient if we use our regular
mailing list, as far as i know. Other bounce messages (unknow user, mailbox
limit exceeded, ...) are delivered to the moderators mailbox.
The only way to catch the message is to delete the users.lst.
Below you can find the message that is sent back by the postmaster of this
particular domain.
Article rejected! There are no subscribers to the list. (Users.lst file yet
to be created.)

A couple of things. 1st: in 7.04 we fixed the SMTP deliver
process so that messages that have a NUL sender in the SMTP
conversation don't get forwarded to the list. The log
snippet that Heinrich sent shows that the bounce message is
coming in with a valid address, so SMTP is not going to
catch it. So, (2d) what Sandy is looking for at this point
is the actual message body and its headers (so am I
actually, want to see the same thing he wants to see).
