Two things to point out here with this response from IMail:

First, [EMAIL PROTECTED] isn't a valid host name -- you should 
look for that in the IMail settings and change it to just "mail.uhsweb.com".

Second, the "X1" you see here breaks the RFC, but unfortunately you can't 
do anything about that with IMail.

No.  What you see appears to be the standard IMail response.  From the 
outside, we see "220 SMTP service ready".
