Thanks. I don't want to disable the proxy. Instead, for the moment, we have just asked our outside people to use the web messaging feature of Imail. Or, for those with broadband connections that work from home, I have them set up their email client to receive mail from our mail server and send mail through their internet provider's mail server.
None are really good solutions, though, and I wish Watchguard would get their act together on this. Guess I'm on the wrong list to whine about this here :) Sharyn -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Joseph Marlin Sent: Monday, January 07, 2002 4:40 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Watchguard port 25 behavior I've just gone with the user filter, and given up those proxy benefits. I hate that - it is the only proxy on Watchguard that allows you to make changes without rebooting the firewall! No big issues - I do have one issue which I posted as "Duplicates".
