He came in here with an Imal msg rejected by a sendmail server in .ch. After a lot of "dig" ing, I found that his/your @senderdomain was not in yoyo.net DNS, causing .ch server's DNS validation of @senderdomain to reject your mail. Plus uu.net was running an anciently vulnerable version of BIND. it looks like they've fixed that: # dig @ns1-s.dns.pipex.net txt chaos version.bind. ; <<>> DiG 8.3 <<>> @ns1-s.dns.pipex.net txt chaos version.bind. ; (1 server found) ;; res options: init recurs defnam dnsrch ;; got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: REFUSED, id: 6 ;; flags: qr rd; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 0, ADDITIONAL: 0 ;; QUERY SECTION: ;; version.bind, type = TXT, class = CHAOS ;; Total query time: 154 msec ;; FROM: Opt-In4Email.com to SERVER: ns1-s.dns.pipex.net 158.43.193.83 ;; WHEN: Fri Feb 8 11:28:27 2002 ;; MSG SIZE sent: 30 rcvd: 30 Len http://MenAndMice.com/DNS-training http://BIND8NT.MEIway.com : ISC BIND 8.2.4 for NT4 & W2K http://IMGate.MEIway.com : Build free, hi-perf, anti-abuse mail gateways Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
