no we don't need 1MB but we need to get about 20 some odd domain names as
hosts aliases.
My critisicm of the registry choice may have been incorrect, however my beef
is the 255 limit.

Whether or not the 512 chars will work is a matter of me just figuring out
how many of our domains will fit into that length. I have yet to try but
thanks for the info on how to do it.

Regardless I really am not sure about using a product where I need to hack
the registry to get the product to work for me. if it happens in this one
place there is certainly to be other places. Not to mention the behavior of
the the interface truncating with no error message, no help doc on the limit
etc, raises red flags about the product in general.
