That's because your registrar (whomever you registered domain.com with) has those computers as the authorative name servers for your domain. If you want to change/add name servers you have to follow their procedures (phone call, email, fax, web site, etc.) to do it. > In this configuration we want the possibility have these url : > http://myfolfer.domain.com and http://mail.mydomain.com . Note that that's *two* domains, 'domain.com' & 'mydomain.com'. > It's my first time I configure dns and I hope in help from this > mail-list. > I find this guide http://www.iisanswers.com/articles/dns_for_iis.htm I > think it's good guide for my target, only problems our server name at > the moment is "NS4" , but I don't understand I need change in > "ns4.mydomain.com" You'll have to modify the information that your registrar (or registrars if the two domains are registered with different ones) has to include "ns4.mydomain.com" as a name server for your domains. You should also discuss with the maintainers of the other name servers who will be the master and who will be secondary. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] "Hangers on though you be friends be more humble when asking for seconds."
