Speaking from experience, you are going to be used for relaying and/or listed in spam databases without using Relay Mail for Addresses or requiring SMTP verify.

IMgate and the "Pop-Before-SMTP" feature - The way I understand this is that a user POPs to Imail then IMgate reads Imail logs and temporarily allows user's IP to relay. Basically, this is a dynamic version of "Relay for Addresses"? 2. Install Declude HiJack. We like the IMgate solution because of it's apparent security and we also want to setup IMgate boxes to take stress off of our Imail machine BUT time is critical right now and our only UNIX guy hasn't used it in 10 years so getting up to speed could be an issue. How easy is this to setup for a MS, C++, ASP oriented person? We like the Declude HiJack solution because it is easy, quick and can control our users from spamming. However, since it does allow small volumes of mail to be relayed, couldn't our server still be listed in one of the open relay databases if a message gets through?
