Ahhh, sorry - have to open my eyes a little more... missed the following lines in the log file (many lines between the first and theese one): 02:27 00:07 SMTP-(000001B4) 421 OURFIREWALLNAME Sorry, unable to contact destination SMTP daemon. 02:27 00:07 SMTP-(000001B4) SMTP_DELIV_FAILED 02:27 00:07 SMTP-(000001B4) >QUIT
So it is our firewall that confuses the mailserver... Thanx for your replies. Best regards Claus Pedersen Travelmarket 2001 A/S -----Original Message----- From: R. What happens AFTER the "Connect" line? That shows that IMail is actually connecting to the primary mailserver. Something is happening after that -- is the E-mail being delivered, does the primary say "554 - We don't accept mail from anyone!", is it timing out, etc.? There is still no indication that IMail is doing anything wrong; we need to see what happens after that to know if IMail is handling the situation appropriately. -Scott --- Declude: Anti-virus, Anti-spam and Anti-hijacking solutions for IMail. http://www.declude.com --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
