I am running Imail 7.06HF2. I have been haveing problems with the SMTPD.exe service not responding. I have been having problems with this since 7.04 or 7.05. It was intermittent. Now it happens everyday. This seems to go down every morning around 8:00AM. To test I try to send an email to myself to make sure that SMTP and POP3 are working properly. I get an error that says a timeout accurd while communicating to the SMTP server or that I am unable to connect to the SMTP Server. I check the server and the SMTP service is running. I check my logfiles and there is no request from my IP address of my PC I am trying to send from recorded. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Ipswitch pretty much just had me reinstall the software but that didn't fix it.
