Robert, Maybe try a new power supply? Thats a quick and cheap troubleshooting step. I have had similar issues before and it turned out to be hardware related.
Just a thought... There is no rhyme or reason as to the time of day or conditions under which it reboots itself. Has anyone had this problem or a similar problem where a machine will just reboot itself? Here are my specs: Dell Dimension Pentium 3 600mhz 512MB RAM 2 - Seagate 70gig SCSI drives in a RAID 1 Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 2 Imail 7.06 200 users mostly through POP with maybe 6 using WebMail APC 1300 SmartUPS to provide stable power to the box... the other two boxes on this UPS don't reboot at the same time or at all. This machine runs flawlessly other that this little quirk. I never have services take 100 percent of the resources and WebMail doesn't consume greater and greater amounts of resources. Just an annoyance when I start getting calls about the mail server not responding and when I look at it it is rebooting. Wierd.
