I'm a tad confused on the "Relay Mail for Addresses" option on the SMTP
Security tab. If my mail server is to be used as a backup mail server, can I
use this option?

I need to back up several mail servers, all of which I obviously know the IP
addresses for. If those mail servers are down and the mail gets sent to my
mail server (as secondary mail server in DNS records), will my server hold
and then forward when possible? Or will it reject the mail?

More simply: does "Relay Mail for Addresses" allow mail relay when the mail
is DESTINED FOR the defined addresses or does it only allow relay when the
mail is RECEIVED FROM those IP addresses?

Thanks for clarification.
