This brings up another question -- I've had intermittent problems with email names that have periods in them when the user accesses iMail via the Web interface. And, sometimes, even with Outlook 2K. The weird part is that it doesn't ALWAYS happen. But, sometimes the account is suddenly not available. The Web interface and/or O2K will just report they can't get to it. Restarts, delete of suspect files, threats don't work. Give it an hour or so and everything clears up. I've check CPU usage, memory usage, hard disk -- nothing sticks out as a possibility.
If I remove the period, it seems that that account is no longer a candidate for the problem, but the issue is sporadic enough, that I can't be absolutely sure that's. Just that it has never happened to an account that doesn't have a period. This is NT4 SP6a, iMail 7.04. Anyone seen this? Or, do I get an award for the odd error today?
