I just did this same thing last month. I ran iMail for 5 or 6 years on a
Pentium 166 with 2 gig drive under NT4. <brag> I got in on one of Dells
infamous pricing mistakes and was able to get a brand new PowerEdge 1.1ghz
server with 20Gb 7200RPM drive for $499 with a $250 rebate ($249 total,
including tax and shipping) </brag> and decided to upgrade the mail server
with it. The registry transfered just fine, I had very few problems moving
it over. It is alot easier if you keep iMail on the same drive on the new
machine (if your mail is on C: on the old machine, try to keep mail on C: on
the new one) , otherwise you''ll need to edit the registry.

Thinking about taking the ol' P166 and loading up imGate on it....
