Not exactly. Any E-mail sent via web messaging where the user attaches a
file will not get scanned (E-mails sent via web messaging that do not have
attachments are safe and do not need scanning). That means that the most
common viruses, such as Klez, will not spread through web messaging (unless
someone does so intentionally, or is the type of person that sticks their
fingers in electrical outlets just to see what happens). In fact, I
haven't heard of a single case where a virus was spread via web messaging
(remember, all the *incoming* SMTP E-mail is scanned for web messaging
customers), although I'm sure it has happened.

Note that it should be impossible for a virus to get sent through web
messaging unless the user intentionally attaches a file (unlike traditional
viruses, that can spread automatically).

Yes, unless you have taken precautions to prevent it.

Good -- but beta versions of Declude should not be discussed here. :)

Discussions of beta features of Declude are best left for the Declude
mailing lists, or directly with our support department.
