That seems to have done the trick. It was the trailing "." in the name of the
mail server.

Here's how I got rid of it:

1. Backup IMail configuration, stop IMail server, backup Ipswitch registry key.

2. In regedit, find the key My
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTARE\Ipswitch\Imail\Domains\10.1.1.6 (note, the
IP address is my local address behind my firewall).

3. This key has a field called "Official". Its value was "mail.cws-gr.biz."
Changed it to remove the trailing period.

4. There is another key called My
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTARE\Ipswitch\Imail\Domains\mail.cws-gr.biz. I
just renamed it to remove the trailing period.

5. Restart IMail services. When I looked back into IMail Administrator, the
trailing period was removed from the Official Host Name field (the one that you
can't edit from IMail Administrator).

I sent the same test message I've been using to my friends over at
SageStone.com, and this time it looks like it went through. Here's the log
entries:
