I'm glad you mentioned that. I just found
this article a few minutes ago: http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/WG-20011226-DM01.htm.
It mentions the same thing, and that Exchange servers are typically the ones
that reject e-mail if there is a trailing "." at the end of the
address.
Any idea how to get rid of it? In my IMail
Administrator, my localhost name is mail.cws-gr.biz (no trailing "."). I
removed the trailing "." from the FQDN on the Network Identification Tab (the
machine has a different name anyway), and that didn't make a difference. I
tried poking around in the DNS administrator, but not sure how to approach
it.
Any advice appreciated.
