No, but it isn't necessary:

Here, the salesman can use SMTP AUTH. You don't have to make any changes
to your IMail SMTP security settings (which must be either "Relay for
Addresses" or "No Mail Relay"). He may need to check something like "My
mailserver requires authentication" in his mail client.
Note that AOL treats SMTP TCP connections as its own property. Depending
on their mood, they may ban the SMTP connection, they may allow it, they
may intercept it, or route it through their own SMTP servers. So it would
be best for your AOL user to use AOL's mailserver, so that there aren't any
surprises.
