There are some game users mailing lists of over 4 million. There are financial news list where many 100K info, the info is perishable, have to go in one hour, but not 24/24. If for 24/24, the rate would be in the millions. I know one site like this in NYC with 10 postfix "cannons" sending/selling financial info between 07:00 and 08:00. The airlines run mailing lists to announce specials to their Freakquent Flyers. many, many 100's of 1000's.
