This option was introduced in version 6 and has never worked for me, I
hoped that when I installed a new server that was a clean install with 7.13
that it would work but I always get a "cannot load host data'" message. I
have the same exact version clean install of both and still no luck.
I have tried various ways, and even spent a couple of hours on the
telephone with Imail technical support and they couldn't even figure it
out. what a waste of thier and my time. I have 90 sites on my server &
really desire this option but nope.

As well, they still ha vent fixed the fact that when you add a new host,
you have to entirely close the Iadmin app & reopen it to see your added
domain. Seems silly to have a refresh option that doesn't work. Imail TS
has even acknowledged this flaw & still in major revisions has not fixed it.

Those reading this, be aware that in Ipswitch's product documentation on
thier website has this paragraph

Easy remote administration.
IMail's console application can now run locally or remotely. This means
that administrators can save time and address server issues more quickly
since they can connect to and manage a server from any location. Tasks and
commands are implemented in the same manner whether an administrator is at
his desk or at a remote site. Additionally, administrators can connect to
multiple servers and do not have to be physically at a server to administer
it. This is especially attractive to service providers that have many
servers and customers dispersed throughout a wide geography.

well forget it, IT DOESNT WORK, I have tried for years now. and YES
Ipswitch, I have the password server running, and I have the Iadmin app
closed on the server, same exact version running locally just for the
(supposedly) remote admin and NO IT DOES NOT WORK, NEVER DID!

Just don't understand why they advertise it & never solved the problem for
me, seems silly...

Just FYI folks.
