IMail does not have to be installed on the machine you will be doing the remote admin from. All you need is IAdmin.exe, mailbox.dll, and imailsec.dll and all should work.

Chapter 19 of the Users Guide explains Mail Administrator Remote Connection Capability.  This requires IMail to be running on the Local machine as well as the Remote.

I believe that a quick survey would show that most of us use Terminal Server, VNC, or a similar remote access mechanism to the IMail server.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Remote Admnistrator Program

Hi All.

Is there a remote administrator program for Imail.  I want to administer Imail from my desktop.  For example:  Exchange server has a remote administrator program so that I can add/delete/modify accounts remotely.

Thanks.

Samantha
