What type of system is the server? w2k? if so disable the feature that
allows the nic card to be turned off or put in standby mode. I seem to
remember that the Intel NIC card does have driver updates that seem to help
the 10054 error problem (which is / has been issues with other software
vendors too). You might also want to check for firmware updates/upgrades
from its' manufacture. If it is a w2k system ensure that you've updated to
the service pack 3. Microsoft did fix issues with network/tcp etc. Could
be more help though if you could provide your systems configuration.. ram..
cpu's.. motherboard model number/part etc.
